Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates
Steph joined Bespoke Physiotherapy in early 2019. She brings a unique skill set to the practice having trained and worked for eight years as a Myotherapist, before becoming qualified as a Physiotherapist. Steph has also worked extensively as a Clinical Pilates Instructor, and having obtained an Advanced Diploma of Pilates Movement Therapy through the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) in 2013.
Steph was exposed to the healthcare world more than most during her teenage years, having trained and competed as an elite level gymnast. It was during this period she realised that undertaking both physiotherapy and individualised clinical pilates was helping her perform at her best, and that in the future she too wanted to work with people to help them reach their goals.
Steph has a love of ongoing learning, and in mid May she will embark on her Bobath training. She uses a combination of manual techniques such mobilisations, massage and dry needling, as well as providing specific exercises when working with her clients.
